The Association is very sad to hear of the death of Jonathan Hazell, who passed away peacefully on Saturday 24th May. Jonathan was a very well-respected arboriculturist, colleague and friend who has contributed a great deal to the sector. He was the first ever Technical Director for the Arboricultural Association in the late 1990s and also became a Trustee and Chair, helping steer the Association through a period of growth and increasing influence. He leaves his wife Judith and two sons, Will and Simon – our thoughts and condolences are with them. We hope to publish an obituary for Jonathan in the forthcoming ARB Magazine.
