Overview

I have been working in arboriculture since 2003. My completed my first degree in Forestry in 1984. I have worked as an arboriculturist for various local councils including Ashford, Sevenoaks, South Oxfordshire & Tunbridge Wells and for Kent County Council. I have acted as an arboricultural consultant for Tonbridge & Malling and Canterbury City Councils. I currently undertake work ad hoc for the Planning Inspectorate as a non-salaried inspector (NSI) covering tree work (TPO) appeals. I have been involved in over 1,000 cases of domestic subsidence cases where trees have been involved including cases heading to court or mediation and have been involved with a Financial Ombudsman case. I have acted as an arboricultural expert witness in both criminal and civil courts and am a member of the Expert Witness Institute.
